M&C Saatchi has appointed banking specialist Mim Haysom as managing partner for its Commonwealth Bank business.
The move will see Haysom relocate to Sydney from her previous role as WhybinTBWA’s regional group head on the ANZ Bank in Melbourne.
Haysom fills the position previously held by Jo Rozario, who will remain on CommBank as part of a lengthy transition while taking on broader responsibilities within the M&C Saatchi Group in her capacity as Managing Partner.
In her three years at Whybin Haysom held group leadership responsibility on ANZ across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
She was pivotal in setting the strategic direction and creative platform for the successful global ANZ brand campaign.
Prior to Whybin, Haysom spent 10 years at Cummins & Partners working on a range of clients including FMCG, Pharmaceutical and retail brands in addition to new business development.
A two-year stint at Clemenger Harvie Edge followed another two at JWT where she cut her teeth on the Ford account.
M&C Saatchi Australasia CEO Jaimes Leggett said: “Mim’s experience and skillset are best in market and a perfect fit for this major role within our Group.
Leggett added that Rozario would be taking on a broader role in the group. Haysom is the latest senior appointment for M&C Saatchi, after that of chief strategy officer Justin Graham from Droga5 and group innovation director Ben Cooper from The Monkeys.
